Hey Greta-Indeed I do xc ski and looking forward to it soon, as well as alpine skiing & snowshoeing! I rode thru Glenwood Canyon, it was great, a couple small patches of icy snow, but clear other then that. Hopefully it will stay open a few more weeks. I'm going to Denver next week and hoping to pick up a road bike, Steve is going to help me get one for my birthday. keep me in mind for skiing this winter!

Hi Cheryl! Hope you had an awesome ride! I had to work in part to cover for Cricket-her son had an accident. So I rode in from Avon, right past the sign on Dowd Junction that says trail closure will be anytime after Nov. 1st, so I guess this is it for riding to work until they open it again in the summer. Do you cross-country ski?

Hey y'all! Is anyone interested in doing a ride tomorrow (Sunday Nov.1)? Gotta take advantage of the last few warm days before we get the skis out! I'm thinking of doing the Boneyard in Eagle...I have done it twice, good climb and challenging downhill but doable. I'll be going around noonish if anyone want to join me, give me a call 376-7568. If not that, maybe ride the Glenwood Canyon rec trail...all the way.

It was great Greta. I'm going to ride tomorrow (Tuesday) night after work if it's not raining, if you want to go again. And anyone else, too, give a shout out!

I caan go Sunday, but not until about 10. Would that work? It should be up to 50 degrees or so by 10. In Avon, it is not hitting 40 degrees until around 10. I know it's warmer in Eagle.
