May is the perfect time to recognize biking for its benefits – improving health, economy, and environment. Here are some ways to make the most of it:
1) Take a different ride. If you usually mountain bike try out road biking. If you usually ride trails, ride to work or get groceries on your bike. After all forty percent of trips Americans take are two miles or less, an easy distance to bike.

Dave Sanderson said… Hi Nicole!
I will be happy to volunteer for the River Ride! I am partially deaf and have a problem working with registration, sometimes can't understand registrants name ... joke about it but believe I had rather do naything else. I am a retired Event Director, so I know SAG, rest stop duties, stuffing packets, road markings/signage and a host of yother things!
My events were Savannah Century (sold event two years ago), Jekyl Island Challenge (sold same) and Florida Tours a week long tour of trails in central Florida.
My girl friend and I will be living in Eagle Ranch and will hopefully get the Short Sale home we have offered a contract (not settled yet).
I am a road cyclist, but mountains don't agree with me for all my riding is in flat coastal Georgia.
My cell phone good here and in Eagle is 912-665-0854
I hope to be on the Glenwood Canyon Trail a LOT!
