DATE: SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 2012 – Rain or shine!
FEE: Advanced Registration by August 31st: $85/Adult $35/Children 15 and Under

Registration Received After August 31st: $135/Adult $75/Children 15 and Under

This fee entitles you to: transportation, gift, refreshments on the course, a chance to win prizes, and a full southwestern-style barbecue after the ride at the Bully Ranch!

WHERE: Check-in: 7:00 – 8:00 AM at the Sonnenalp Resort in Vail. Alternate Registration/Check-in: 8:45 AM in the Breckenridge Skier Parking lot.

Ride: Starts in Breckenridge at 9:00 AM.
(Directions: I-70 to Exit 203. Follow Highway 9 to Breckenridge. Turn right on N. Park Ave.
Turn left on Watson St. Skier parking lot is on right.)

OPTION: Riders interested in cycling both directions will meet at the Sonnenalp Resort at 7:00 AM.

PARKING: Vail – Park in the free Vail Village Parking Structure (space will not be available at the resort)
Breckenridge – Park in the free Skier Parking Lot
SHUTTLE: A shuttle to Breckenridge will leave at 8:00 AM from the Sonnenalp Resort of Vail
(across from FirstBank in Vail).
A shuttle service is available to the Vail Pass summit, If you prefer not to ride up the pass.
A shuttle will be provided back to Breckenridge after the barbecue at the Bully Ranch.
After the BBQ lunch, a 2pm and 3pm shuttle available back to Breckenridge.
ROUTE: NOT A RACE! This is a casual ride which begins in Breckenridge and follows the recreational
path 10 miles to Frisco. Next comes a gradual 7 mile climb along the creek to Copper Mountain
followed by 5 challenging miles to the Vail Pass summit. The end is a coast, predominantly
The Bully Ranch Barbecue will start at 11:30 am. The Barbecue is included for participants;
$25 cost for non-participants. There will be a SILENT AUCTION, GREAT PRIZES and
GENEROUS DONATIONS by individuals throughout the Vail Valley.

I, the undersigned, wish to participate in the Sonnenalp of Vail Foundation Casual Bicycle Classic and fully understand and knowingly accept
the inherent risks involved in bicycle touring. For myself, my heirs and legal representatives, I hereby release, indemnify and agree to hold
harmless the Sonnenalp of Vail Foundation and the Sonnenalp Resort, its directors, representatives, employees, agents, volunteers,
participants and sponsors of and from any and all losses, costs, damages, claims, demands, rights and causes of action of whatever kind or
nature, including reasonable attorney fees, and including any and all negligence claims or action, which may arise and which result from
illness, personal injuries, property damage, death or of any other damages or injuries not included herein, occurring during, or as a result of,
my participating in the Sonnenalp of Vail Foundation Casual Bicycle Classic. I do hereby consent to and authorize the Sonnenalp of Vail Foundation
and the Sonnenalp Resort, its directors, representatives, employees, agents, volunteers, participants and sponsors, to obtain emergency
medical treatment for me in the case of any illness or injury resulting from or occurring during my participation in the Sonnenalp of Vail Foundation
Casual Bicycle Classic. I understand and accept that any medical costs incurred will be my responsibility. I agree that I will, at all
times during my participation in the Sonnenalp of Vail Foundation Casual Bicylce Classic, adhere to all safety regulations which include
wearing a helmet at all times while riding my bicycle. It is further understood that I am responsible for the return of any Sonnenalp Resort
property (if applicable) in the condition received and agree to understand the operation of any equipment borrowed and to operate such in a
safe manner at all times.By signing below I release the Sonnenalp Resort, its agents and employees, from all claims, causes of
actions, liability and expenses of any nature whatsoever for damage to my bicycle occurring during loading or transporting.
The Sonnenalp Resort will exercise reasonable care in handling the bicycle but that they assume no responsibility for damage.
